These terms cover coaching from License Pending, an independent NCLEX-PN coaching service run by George Evans, RN, BSN, a sole proprietor in California ("I," "me"). By booking a call or paying for a package, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email me before you pay.

What the coaching is

License Pending offers one-on-one test-preparation coaching for the NCLEX-PN exam, by video call. It is education and study coaching only. It is not nursing care, medical advice, legal advice, or official guidance about licensing or eligibility.

I'm happy to share what I know about California's equivalency route (Method 3) and the application process, but the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT), your state's board of nursing, and Pearson VUE make all decisions about eligibility, applications, and testing. Always confirm your eligibility and deadlines with them directly.

No guarantee of results

I do not guarantee that you will pass the NCLEX-PN or that any board will approve your application. Your result depends on many things outside my control, including your study time and the exam itself. What I commit to is an honest assessment, a plan built for you, and real effort in every session.

Who can sign up

Coaching is for adults (18 or older) preparing for the NCLEX-PN. Anyone who is a current or former student of the vocational nursing program I lead, graduated or not, can't be coached for pay, because that would be a conflict of interest. If that applies to you, please let me know on the fit call.

Packages and payment

Free fit call: a 15-minute video call to see whether coaching is a good fit. No payment and no obligation.
NCLEX-PN Game Plan, $75: one 60-minute session plus a written, personalized study plan.
Pass Plan, $249: four 60-minute sessions, a personalized study plan, question drills, and a weekly message check-in.

After a fit call, I email you a secure payment link. Payments are processed by Stripe, and I never see or store your full card number. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are paid in full before your first session.

Scheduling, rescheduling, and missed sessions

Sessions take place by Google Meet, evenings and weekends, Pacific time.
You may reschedule a session once per package with at least 24 hours' notice.
A session missed without 24 hours' notice counts as used.
Sessions must be used within 60 days of purchase. Unused sessions expire after that.
If I need to cancel or reschedule, I'll give you as much notice as I can and we'll find a new time. If we can't, I'll refund that session.

Refunds

Before your first session: full refund if you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice.
Game Plan: non-refundable once the session has taken place.
Pass Plan: if you stop early, your first session counts as a Game Plan ($75), and each unused session is refunded at $58.

Recording

Sessions are not recorded unless we both agree to it in advance.

Materials

Study plans, handouts, and practice questions I give you are for your personal use while you prepare. Please don't share, resell, or post them. They are my own materials and don't come from any school or testing organization.

Your part

Please give accurate information on the fit call and booking form, show up on time, and treat our sessions respectfully. I may end coaching for abusive behavior or misuse of materials. If I end coaching for any other reason, I'll refund unused sessions as described above.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability for anything related to the coaching is limited to the amount you paid me for it. I'm not responsible for decisions made by licensing boards or testing companies, or for exam outcomes.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms. The version posted on this page when you pay is the one that applies to your package. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
